Spring hatched your eyes

I could tap you among flowers
whose names I can’t remember
tracking you in a radio tune
stroked
as an accidental earthquake
shaking the wheat

spring hatched your eyes
finding each other
in a rare combination
of lacustrine eclipses
funky waves
suffocating hot
was our fate

now you knock at silence door
and while I rush
to hold the handle
peeved
you’ve already walked down
other unserground platforms
